Nika is honored to collaborate with Marin Ventures and the dedicated staff and families of all of their members and clients. Through internships with local Universities in the Bay Area as well as the support of both student and professional Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, we work to provide communication access to ALL adults in the program. This ongoing project has worked to provide access through technology tools with eye gaze and switch access as well as both high and low-tech options for everyone.
At Marin Ventures, we honor all available means of communication. Communication might mean using a specific voice output system or low-tech picture support, but communication is also about sharing. Sharing of our lives with each other, from what we like to do, our families, where we live, and sharing experiences. Nika is proud to collaborate with CoughDrop technology tools that allow families to participate and be a part of helping everyone to share.
